Save the Date!!
Hi
Everyone,
Having
totally recovered from our big 50th reunion, several of us decided
to respond to requests for a get-together without waiting another 5
years. We decided to celebrate turning 70 (unbelievable) together.
One of
our classmates has made available his week-end getaway in
Fairfield. We will have a catered BBQ , swimming, and just
generally having a party. The location should make a day trip
possible for anyone in the Bay Area, Sonoma Co., or the Sacramento
area and elsewhere. The price will be very reasonable. For out of
towners we will reserve some rooms at a hotel or motor inn in
Fairfield. We may make arrangements for a private room for
breakfast the next AM. Plans are still in a preliminary stage, but
we want you to put it on your calendar.
The
date is: Saturday, October 11, 2008
Even a
rough head count would be helpful at this point, so make note of the
date and e-mail me if you are likely to make the party.
Here's
to (ugh) turning 70!!
Best
regards,
Judy

Dear
Fellow Class of ‘56 Alumni:
We
had a fabulous 50th
Reunion
Weekend (September
8-10th). If you couldn't join us, we'll be uploading some pictures of your
fellow classmates enjoying themselves in 2006. There are already quite a few
2006 photos on this web site.
Click to see 2006 pictures of your Oakland
High friends.
The
reunion was so much fun that some people are talking about getting together in
two years for everyone's 70th birthday.
The
50th Reunion Committee has been working this past year and one-half to plan and
promote a reunion weekend that enticed all of you to come celebrate with us.
We have been searching far and wide to find everyone, and appreciate all the
assistance we have received from those of you who have forwarded names and
addresses. We'd
like this web site to create
opportunities for us to get together and renew old acquaintances and memories.
If
you want to keep in contact with your fellow OHS 1956 alumni, there are three
ways to do it from this web site:
-
Click
on the ALUMNI DIRECTORY
to find the latest contact information on your classmates. To get a user
name and password, contact
Stan Webb.
-
Click
the MESSAGE
BOARD button to leave messages or have ongoing debates about our class'
goings on.
-
